Glenview enjoys a reputation as one of Chicago’s premier suburbs. This vibrant, thriving suburban Chicago village is located 14 miles north of Chicago in Cook County. Transportation

Glenview residents benefit from close proximity to highways (I-94 Edens Expressway and I-294 Tri-State Tollway) and commuter trains. In fact, there are two Glenview commuter rail stations on the Metra Milwaukee District North Line (MD-N). The Glenview Station is located downtown at Grove and Depot streets, while the Glen of North Glenview Station is at Lehigh and West Lake avenues. The average rail commute to Chicago is 30 – 35 minutes. Amtrak trains also run through Glenview, stopping at the downtown station and providing service several times daily to Milwaukee or Seattle. Four Pace bus routes operate through Glenview.
